Well, I teach a bit differently.  I teach a true exotic dance / pole dance class.

I do not do the 30-45 minutes of yoga/pilates at the beginning of each class.

I feel like if you are paying to take a pole/exotic dance class, then that's what you should get, not a pilates or yoga class in disguise..you can take pilates/yoga anywhere.

My classes are upbeat, yet sensual.  We don't take ourselves too seriously.  You're here to have FUN!

Also, I am the ONLY instructor in the Portland/Vancouver area that has taken specialized Pole Dance Certification training.

Anyone can say they have a "pole dance certification" class because there are no real "rules" for certifying as there are in yoga etc...However, there are 2 true pole dance certification courses in the country that are approved by AFAA & ACE, the 2 major fitness certification companies in the United States.

The difference between this certification and other pole dance instructors/studios that say they have a certification class/program is that the program I have done has been scrutinized and been approved by the s major certification companies in the US.

So you can feel safe with PDX Pole Divas!
