Bio: Julie is a 200Hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) who began taking yoga 10 years ago as a way to give her body a break from the running and soccer she had been doing for most of her life. However, when a knee injury forced her to look for low impact activities she started turning to yoga more often. In 2015, when she discovered vinyasa style power yoga, she was blown away by the physical and mental challenges that this style provided and she left every class feeling tired, yet stronger and wanting more. At a stage in her life when her kids were all in school full-time and with a desire to learn more about yoga, Julie embarked on the process of becoming a teacher. The process of becoming a teacher has helped Julie grow in ways she never expected both physically, mentally and spiritually and has impacted all aspects of her life. She is so excited to share the gift of yoga with others and cannot wait to share it with you.
When Julie is not practicing or studying yoga, she can be found with her husband cheering their 3 kids on at their various activities, walking her dogs, volunteering in the schools or hanging out with her friends!
